Who we are
AiHud ("AiHud", "we", "us") provides AI-powered assistants that operate over messaging channels such as WhatsApp on behalf of businesses. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. If you have questions, contact us at the address at the bottom of this page.
Data we collect
Account and contact data: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, and business details you give us when you sign up, start a trial, or contact us.
Message content: the messages you exchange with your AiHud assistant, and — where you use AiHud to serve your own customers — the messages your customers send to and receive from that assistant.
Usage and billing data: credits consumed, trial status, timestamps, technical logs, device/connection metadata, and payment records (payments are processed by third-party providers such as PayPal — we do not store full card numbers).
Website data: standard analytics and advertising identifiers via cookies and pixels (e.g., Meta, Google, Reddit) when you visit aihud.net. You can control these through your browser and the ad platforms' settings.
How we use your data
To provide and operate the assistant, generate replies, and route messages; to run trials and meter credit usage; to take payment and prevent fraud or abuse; to provide support and communicate with you about your account; to improve reliability and safety; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
Legal bases (UK/EU/EEA users)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to deliver the service you asked for); legitimate interests (to secure, improve, and market the service proportionately); consent (for optional cookies/marketing, which you can withdraw); and legal obligation (for tax, accounting, and lawful requests).
AI providers and sub-processors
To generate assistant replies we send message content to third-party AI model providers — including Anthropic — acting as our sub-processors under their own security and privacy terms. We also use infrastructure, hosting, messaging, analytics, and payment providers to run the service. We share only what is needed for each provider to perform its function, and we do not permit them to use your content to train their models beyond what is necessary to deliver the service.
Data we process for our clients
When a business uses AiHud to communicate with its own customers, that business is the data controller of its customers' data and AiHud acts as a data processor on its behalf. We process end-customer messages only to operate the assistant for that client, under our agreement with them. If you are an end-customer and want your data accessed or deleted, please contact the business you were messaging; we will assist that business with the request.
How long we keep it
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required by law (typically up to 7 years for financial records). Message content and logs are retained only as long as needed to operate the service, support you, and meet legal or security needs, after which they are deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see your rights below).
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the UK, EU/EEA, and Australia), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
We operate internationally, and your data may be processed in countries outside your own — including the United States and Israel. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision) to protect your data when it is transferred.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access controls, isolation between client environments, and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and to notify affected users of a material breach as required by law.
Children
AiHud is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will post the new version here with an updated date, and for material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
